dc.description	As inseparable dimensions of any reality, time and space have had a major impact on the emergence and establishment of the colonial society in Spanish America. However, the number of studies about the concept of time, its representation or its imposition in colonial areas is lower than the studies about territorial organization. For this reason, this paper focuses specifically on the imposition of Christian temporality in the Muiscas communities in the New Kingdom of Granada at the end of the sixteenth century. It is not an ontological study of time, but one to establish how your organization contributed to the maintenance of the colonial order and the construction of the identity of the colonial indigenous. To account for this, we analyze the Fray Luis Zapata de Cardenas discourse contained in the catechism published in 1576.	en-US
dc.description	En cuanto dimensiones indisociables de toda realidad, el tiempo y el espacio tuvieron un gran impacto en el surgimiento y establecimiento de la sociedad colonial en la América española. Sin embargo, el número de estudios sobre la noción del tiempo, su representación o su imposición en los espacios coloniales ha sido inferior a los estudios sobre el ordenamiento territorial. Es por ello que este trabajo aborda específicamente la imposición de una temporalidad de base cristiana en las comunidades muiscas del Nuevo Reino de Granada a finales del siglo xvi. No se trata de un estudio ontológico sobre el tiempo, sino de establecer cómo su organización contribuyó al mantenimiento del orden colonial y a la construcción de la identidad del indígena colonial. Para dar cuenta de ello, se analiza el discurso de fray LuisZapata de Cárdenas contenido en el catecismo que publicó en 1576 en la ciudad de Santafé.	es-ES
