dc.description	Liberation theology is a theological current born within the Latin American Christian churches and in the context of the Cold War, was persecuted by the Latin American dictatorships, accused of communist. The aim of this study is to see the impact of this theory in leading scientific journals in the world indexed in Web of Science. This allows us to observe, through a case, the level of access of Latin American innovative thinking to global science communicators. It is a documentary research based on content analysis. Lead authors, magazines, institutions, areas of expertise, most represented countries, dating behavior and relationships between authors and institutions were identified.	en-US
dc.description	La teología de la liberación es una corriente teológica que nació en el seno de las iglesias cristianas latinoamericanas y que, en el contexto de la guerra fría, fue perseguida por las dictaduras latinoamericanas, acusada de comunista. El objetivo de este trabajo es ver la repercusión de esta teoría en las principales revistas científicas del mundo indexadas en Web of Science. Esto permite observar, a través de un caso puntual, el nivel de acceso de los pensamientos innovadores latinoamericanos a divulgadores científicos globales. Es una investigación documental basada en el análisis de contenido. Se identificó a los principales autores, revistas, instituciones, áreas de conocimiento, países más representados, comportamiento de las citas y relaciones de los autores con las instituciones.	es-ES
