dc.description	El sistema Presupuesto Participativo está sindicado como una de las iniciativas más innovadoras de democratización de la gestión local y de ejercicio de una democracia participativa a escala de la ciudad. En Argentina despunta a partir del año 2002 en una coyuntura de profunda crisis político-institucional, de interpelación a las formas canónicas de representación. Luego de transitado el sexto año de implementación nos preguntamos en qué medida el programa exhibe capacidades para ampliar la participación ciudadana en los asuntos públicos, optimizar el control de gestión, fortalecer el tejido social y promover una revinculación Estado-sociedad.Abstract The Participative Budget system has been recognized as one of the most innovative initiatives for the democratization of local management and the exercise of participative democracy at the town level. In Argentina the program started in 2002, in the conjuncture of a profound political and institutional crisis. After being at work for six year the questions is: to what extent does the program shows the capability to expand citizens´ participation in the public affairs, to optimize the accountability, to strengthen the social network and to promote new links between State and society?	es-ES
