Un conflicto identitario en la actualidad: la invisibilización de la cultura afrodescendiente en la República Dominicana

dc.description	El conflicto identitario que existe en la República Dominicana ha provocado la invisibilización de la afrodescendencia en este país. El discurso elaborado por las élites políticas e intelectuales ha generado la auto-negación y el rechazo de diferentes aspectos de la cultura afrodescendiente cómo los relacionados con la estética, las costumbres, la religión, etc. Además, este discurso ha generado una fractura socio cultural que enfrenta a quienes defienden o rechazan el respeto por la cultura y los derechos de la afrodescendencia. En este artículo se tratará el conflicto identitario en la actualidad a través del discurso que rechaza la afrodescendencia y en oposición, la respuesta por parte de diferentes colectivos o activistas. Para ello, hemos dividido en diferentes ejes temáticos ambos discursos para vislumbrar de qué forma se articulan y cuáles son algunos canales de difusión.	es-ES
dc.description	Identity conflict existing in Dominican Republic has caused the invisibility of afro-descendant peoples in this country. The discourse utilized by the political and intellectual elites of the country has bred the self-denial and the rejection of differences issues of the afro-descendant culture such us beauty, customs, religion, culture, etc. Moreover, this discourse has created a social and cultural divide which confronts people who advocate the respect for the afro-descendant culture and its right agent people who reject them. It discussing the current identity conflict through the speech which makes afro-descendence invisible and on the other hand, the response of different groups and activists. Therefore this has been divided in several topics to discuss the way they are exposed and which are some of the channels of dissemination.	en-US
