dc.description	El siguiente artículo surge a la luz de las políticas gubernamentales latinoamericanas de finales del siglo XX que consistieron en “hacer vivir al indígena”. Bajo este contexto, emerge el turismo como condición inmanente a la comercialización de la cultura originaria y se conforma el Turismo Indígena como categorización de aquellos proyectos auto gestionados por comunidades indígenas a fin de promover el desarrollo económico y humano, erradicar la pobreza e insertarse en un mercado fuertemente vinculado con la dinámica “dominación–dependencia”, la cual estructura las relaciones entre poblaciones “desarrolladas” y comunidades “en vías de desarrollo”. Esto origina una constante reconstrucción identitaria de la cultura receptora y sugiere -en carácter de urgencia- la investigación de tal problemática para poder planificar políticas de concientización comunitaria y sustentabilidad cultural.	es-ES
dc.description	The following article arises in light of the Latin American governmental policies of the late twentieth century that consisted of “making the indigenous live”. In this context, tourism emerges as an immanent condition for the commercialization of the original culture and Indigenous Tourism is categorized as self-managed projects by indigenous communities in order to promote economic and human development, eradicate poverty and insert themselves in a market strongly linked to the dynamic “domination-dependence”, which structure the relationships between “developed” populations and “developing” communities. This results in a constant identity reconstruction of the receiving culture and suggests -in a matter of urgency- the investigation of this problem in order to plan policies of community awareness and cultural sustainability.	en-US
