dc.description	During the nineteen eighties, Uruguayan women resume the struggle for their specific causes and began to define their own agenda. The triggering point can be found on the 1980 constitutional referendum vote summoned by the Army, when women adopted a stronger role against the dictatorship. Along with other sectors of the society, women oriented their glaze towards their own civic needs. As part of a larger research project as well as the result of several personal interviews, this article focus on the subjective meaning of the NO result of the 1980 vote. When we hear their own voices, we can confirm that women have several important issues to discuss about that period, from which only male protagonists, military and political, have prevailed.	en-US
dc.description	En los años ochenta las mujeres uruguayas retomaron banderas específicas y comenzaron a definir su propia agenda. El detonante se puede ubicar en el NO al plebiscito constitucional convocado por los militares en 1980, cuando ellas, asumiendo fuertemente una militancia anti dictatorial junto al resto de la sociedad, orientaron sus reflexiones hacia sus propias carencias ciudadanas. Como parte de un proyecto de investigación más extenso, y a partir de los resultados de una serie de entrevistas personales, este artículo se centra en el significado subjetivo que para ellas tuvo el NO de1980. Al darles la voz, constatamos que las mujeres tienen cosas importantes que decir acerca de un período sobre el cual solo se han registrado protagonismos políticos y militares masculinos.	es-ES
