dc.description	The article presents an anthropological approach to gender relations and the artifactual logic in the Escuela del Sur (Taller Torres García) based on some aspects of the career of the Uruguayan Elsa Andrada and the “Augusto Torres and Elsa Andrada Collection” conserved in the artist’s last home in her hometown (currently under the protection of the Museo de Arte Precolombino e Indígena, Montevideo, Uruguay). Throughout the text, the conditions of the entrance and participation of women in the Torres García Workshop, the artifactual logic of the group and its relationship with museums are studied. It is interesting to know how all these aspects are interwoven with a concrete expression of what they understand as the Tradition of Universal Art.	en-US
dc.description	El artículo presenta una aproximación antropológica a las relaciones de género y la lógica artefactual en la Escuela del Sur (Taller Torres García) a partir de algunos aspectos de la trayectoria de la uruguaya Elsa Andrada y la “Colección Augusto Torres y Elsa Andrada” conservada en la última vivienda de la artista en su ciudad natal (actualmente a resguardo del Museo de Arte Precolombino e Indígena de Montevideo, Uruguay). A lo largo del texto se profundiza en las condiciones del ingreso y participación de las mujeres en el Taller Torres García, la lógica artefactual del grupo y su relación con los Museos. Interesa conocer cómo todos estos aspectos se imbrican con una expresión concreta de lo que entienden como Tradición del Arte Universal.	es-ES
