dc.description	La decisión de la tercera Junta Militar de recuperar las islas Malvinas en abril de 1982 se inserta en la continuidad de un relato histórico que había comenzado en 1833 con la usurpación británica del archipiélago. Sin embargo, para comprender los sucesos que derivaron en la única guerra de la que participó Argentina en el siglo XX es necesario analizar la lógica de la dictadura que había tomado el poder con el golpe de Estado de 1976. Este trabajo se propone interpretar la forma en que la dictadura concebía el ejercicio del poder y analizar de qué manera esa lógica se traduce en la decisión de recuperar las islas. La guerra de 1982 encuentra su correlato en la causa nacional de Malvinas, pero esta no parece ser más que una excusa para el desarrollo de la representación belicista de la política dictatorial.	es-ES
dc.description	The decision of the Third Military Junta to recover the Malvinas Islands in April 1982 is inserted in the continuum of a historical account that had begun in 1833 with the British occupation of the archipelago. However, in order to understand the events that led to the only war in which Argentina participated in the twentieth century, it is necessary to analyze the logic of the dictatorship that had seized power with the 1976 coup d’état. This paper intends to interpret the way in which the dictatorship conceived the exercise of power and to analyze how that logic translates into the decision to recover the islands. The war in 1982 finds its correlate in the national cause of Malvinas, but this seems to be nothing but an excuse for the development of the warlike representation of the dictatorial politics.	en-US
