dc.description	La década de los ochenta del siglo xx significó un momento de inflexión en la manera en la cual el sociólogo peruano había entendido una manera de abordar los problemas del Perú y de América Latina. Es a partir de este momento que el problema de la modernidad aparecerá como un elemento central de toda discusión sobre los problemas de la democracia, la identidad, el capitalismo en América Latina y es también la apuesta por lo que en ese momento denominara la reoriginalización. En el presente trabajo se analiza la idea de Quijano de que la modernidad sufrió una metamorfosis y también aquello que denominó como el nudo arguediano de América Latin	es-ES
dc.description	The eighties of the twentieth century marked a turning point in the way in which the Peruvian sociologist had understood a way of approaching the problems of Peru and Latin America. It is from this moment on that the problem of modernity will appear as a central element of any discussion on the problems of democracy, identity, capitalism in Latin America and is also the bet for what at that time called the reoriginalización. In the present work, the idea of Quijano is analyzed that the modernity underwent a metamorphosis and also what denominated like the knot arguediano of Latin America.	en-US
