dc.description	The problem about use-value has a secondary place in the critique to capitalist mode of production realized by Marx: the decisive factor in the process of social reproduction is economic value. The gap left by Marx about the explanation of use-value leads Echeverria to begin the critique of the qualitative form given to material as a real and symbolic expression of a certain society. From this idea focus, will be on the subject, whose social code gives meaning to their economic relationships. The purpose of this article is to analyze the thesis carried out by Echeverría about the use-value, beginning with the characterization that Marx gives about the commodity.	en-US
dc.description	La problematización del valor de uso ocupa un lugar secundario en la crítica al modo de producción capitalista efectuada por Marx: lo determinante en el proceso de reproducción social es el valor económico. El vacío que deja Marx sobre la explicación del valor de uso conduce a Echeverría a comenzar la crítica de la forma cualitativa que reviste la materialidad, como expresión real y simbólica de una determinada sociedad. Desde esta idea, el foco de atención estará en el sujeto, cuyo código social da sentido a sus relaciones económicas. El presente artículo tiene por objetivo analizar la línea argumentativa que sobre el valor de uso realiza Echeverría, comenzando por la caracterización que da Marx sobre la mercancía.	es-ES
