dc.description	Slavery in Brazil is a vigorous object of analysis in Brazilian Sociology, being significant in the literature of famous authors since the seventeenth century. This paperwork aims at discussing the problematic concerning the slavery system in Brazilian society, in the intersection between sociology and literature, understanding that it is constituted not only by the lord/slave economic relationship, but also by the social construction of cultural prerogatives that produce the actions of these authors in their daily lives. We will approach the elements found in the voices of writers like Antonil, Azeredo Coutinho, Joaquim Nabuco and Machado de Assis. All these authors are representative of their time and in their works they have analyzed or illustrated their perspective of the colonial and/or post-colonial living, crystallizing them through their discourses.	en-US
dc.description	La esclavitud en Brasil es un vigoroso objeto de análisis en la sociología brasileña, siendo significativa en la literatura de famosos autores desde el siglo XVII. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo discutir la problemática del sistema de esclavitud en la sociedad brasileña, en la intersección entre sociología y literatura, entendiendo que ella está constituida no sólo por la relación económica señor/esclavo, sino también por la construcción social de las prerrogativas culturales que producen las acciones de estos autores en su vida cotidiana. Nos acercaremos a los elementos encontrados en las voces de escritores como Antonil, Azeredo Coutinho, Joaquim Nabuco y Machado de Assis. Todos estos autores son representativos de su tiempo y en sus obras han analizado o ilustrado su perspectiva de la vida colonial y/o postcolonial, cristalizándolas a través de sus discursos.	es-ES
