| dc.description | The analysis of Human Figure Drawing (HFD) has been broadly used for diagnosis and evaluation. The HFD’s primarily reflect intellectual maturity, the developmental level, and the child’s interpersonal relationships. This transversal, non-experimental study aims to propose a methodology for the assessment of HFD in children, which is capable of providing differential quantitative indicators, is less likely to present statistical error than the traditional qualification, and is statistically comparable, allowing to diminish the subjective character bias in the assessment thus performing unbiased evaluation. To test the method 40 HFD were analyzed, which were done by 20 girls and 20 boys, aged between 7 and 10 years. Each of the groups studied, were made up of children who presented physical abuse (GM) or didn’t (control group, CG. 10 boys and 10 girls). Both Student t and Pearson’s r were applied on the 13 variables measured. Significant differences were found in some indicators. The proposed methodology makes feasible to perform statistical comparisons on clinical level and in research as well. | en-US |
| dc.description | El dibujo de la figura humana (DFH) se ha utilizado en el diagnóstico y evaluación de diversas poblaciones. Los DFH reflejan, primordialmente, la madurez intelectual, el nivel evolutivo y las relaciones interpersonales del niño. Presentamos una metodología de evaluación del DFH en niños, la cual es capaz de brindar indicadores diferenciales cuantitativos menos susceptibles de error estadístico, permitiendo disminuir el sesgo de carácter subjetivo en la evaluación. Para probar el método se analizaron 40 DFH realizados por 20 niñas y 20 niños, de edades entre 7 y 10 años con maltrato físico (GM) y sin esta condición (grupo control, GC: 10 niños y 10 niñas). Se realizaron comparaciones y correlaciones con 13 de las variables medidas. Se encontraron diferencias significativas en algunos indicadores. La metodología propuesta vuelve factible realizar comparaciones estadísticas entre diversos tipos de población, tanto a nivel clínico como en investigación. | es-ES |
