dc.description	This article establishes a relationship between some of the theoretical assumptions of semiotics and linguistics, in order to explain the transformations of contemporary culture whose practices and verbal signs as fathomed today transcend compromising other modes of communication. This new attempt by the culture demands alternative approaches that generate less description and more interpretation, because, as shown in the text, culture phenomena of meaning holds that shape its history and gear make social action, practical action and signs that are revealed from discursive consciousness that emerges from a semiotic concept of culture.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo establece una relación entre algunos de los presupuestos teóricos de la semiótica y la lingüística, con el objetivo de explicar las transformaciones de la cultura contemporánea, cuyas prácticas y signos desentrañados del modo verbal hoy trascienden comprometiendo otros modos de comunicación. Esta nueva tentativa de la cultura demanda miradas alternativas que generen menos descripciones y más interpretaciones, dado que, cómo se muestra en el texto, la cultura encierra fenómenos de sentido que forjan su historia y la hacen engranaje de las acciones sociales, acciones prácticas y signos que se develan desde la conciencia discursiva que emerge de una noción semiótica de la cultura.	es-ES
