An analysis of mottoes and slogans from universities, institutions and quite recognized companies is introduced, whose central interest is in unveiling the various languages derived from power and their ways of thinking of ourselves. It is a study conducted between 2011 and 2014 in the University of Manizales, Colombia.Se presenta un análisis de los lemas y eslóganes de Universidades, instituciones y empresas bastante reconocidas, cuyo interés central está en develar los diversos lenguajes venidos del poder y sus formas de pensarnos.
