dc.description	The seriousness of the damage caused in San Vicente del Caguán (the Colombian Amazon) shows the barbarity with which oil companies stalk and violate nature, and the timid way as State institutions respond, late and with meager sanctions. Likewise, and based on socio-territorial data, which give an account of the social conditions of the region, it is evident that this model of occupation is a development bet of an extensive and high impact nature, which for its deployment needs empty spaces.	en-US
dc.description	La gravedad de los daños causados en San Vicente del Caguán (Amazonía colombiana) demuestra la barbarie con la que las empresas petroleras saquean y violentan la naturaleza y la forma tímida como las instituciones del estado responden, de forma tardía y con sanciones exiguas. Así mismo y a partir de datos socioterritoriales que dan cuenta de las condiciones sociales de la región, se evidencia que éste modelo de ocupación es una apuesta de desarrollo de carácter extensiva y de gran impacto, que para su despliegue necesita de espacios vaciados.	es-ES
