Por el Tlc, que desde junio del 2007 está aprobado por el Congreso de Colombia, se venía suplicando desde el inicio del gobierno de Álvaro Uribe, al que no se lo ratificaron por sus oscuras practicas en materia de derechos humanos y por la oposición de la clase obrera norteamericana, base política del Partido Demócrata, el partido del actual jefe de la Casa Blanca.	es-ES
