dc.description	El siguiente artículo representa un acercamiento preliminar al tema de los sistemas totalitarios y las disidencias que en el contexto de la Guerra Fría intentaron cambiar parcialmente las directrices de los sistemas políticos impuestos globalmente: el socialismo soviético y la democracia capitalista promovida por Estados Unidos. En primer lugar, se realizó una precisión conceptual sobre el autoritarismo y el totalitarismo, analizándolos como predicados del sistema dictatorial según lo propuso Sartori. Luego, se intentó interpretar las experiencias disidentes en el área europea de influencia del Socialismo Real, al abordar aspectos relacionados con la secesión de Yugoslavia y la búsqueda de las vías nacionales al socialismo en Polonia, Hungría y Checoslovaquia. Por último, se exponen algunos elementos del modelo autoritario que Estados Unidos impuso en América Latina y el Caribe.AUTHORITARIAN SYSTEMS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE COLD WAR: ESSAY ON THE “AGE OF DISASTER” AND CONCENTRATED POWERAbstractThe following article represents a preliminary approach to the subject of the totalitarian systems and dissents which, in the context of the Cold War, tried to partially change the guidelines of the political systems imposed globally: the Soviet socialism and the capitalist democracy promoted by the United States. First, a conceptual precision of authoritarianism and totalitarianism was made, analyzing them as predicates of the dictatorial system as proposed by Sartori. Then, the experiences of dissidents in the European area of influence of Real Socialism were interpreted, addressing issues related to the secession of Yugoslavia and the search for national ways to socialism in Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia. Finally, we present some elements of the authoritarian model that the United States imposed in Latin America and the Caribbean.	es-ES
