| dc.description | The purpose of this research project was to characterize the concept of nature of matter and the way it can be learnt by means of a didactic strategy centered on problem solving. Such strategy is purely collective; however, in the end an individual activity allowed to assess its impact on students’ learning. The results are presented from two perspectives: the first one is quantitative in nature, in which we describe the changes observed in the learning process as a result of the students’ ideas about the structure of matter. We finally underline some of the characteristics of the learning achieved by means of this teaching strategy. | en-US |
| dc.description | Elpropósito de esta investigación fue el de caracterizar el concepto Naturaleza de materia y el aprendizaje del mismo logrado a partir de una estrategia didáctica centrada en la resolución de problemas. Como tal, la estrategia es netamente colectiva, sin embargo, al final se hizo unejercicio individual para evaluar el impacto que tuvo la misma en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Los resultados son presentados desde dos perspectivas: la primera de naturaleza cuantitativa, en la cual describimos los cambios observados en el proceso de aprendizaje como consecuencia de la intervención didáctica. La segunda de orden cualitativo, en la cual describimos las ideas de los estudiantes acerca de la estructura de la materia. Al final se destacan algunas características del aprendizaje logrado a partir de la estrategia didáctica. | es-ES |
