| dc.description | We could say that the Berlin Wall has been during almost three decades one of the most powerful image ofa border. This concrete wall divided families,neighbours, buildings, a country and all the international geopolitics between capitalist and communistblocks. But it was also a symbol and mainly a frontier.When searching nowadays for the tracks of the BerlinWall, we may found more than material rests and border line remainders, the Wall was multiple. Beside theBerlin Wall we could discover another kind of borders:a front–border (defensive and offensive), a fronds–border (space of exchange and inhabitation) and acontention wall to the soliton, consequence of the fallof the Berlin Wall itself. | en-US |
| dc.description | El Muro de Berlín ha constituido durante casi tres décadas una de las imágenes más poderosas de la frontera. El muro de hormigón que dividió familias, vecinos, edificios, un país y la geopolítica internacional era además de un símbolo una frontera. Pero como frontera materializa más que una línea de división rígida. Buscando los rastros del Muro descubrimos cómo incluso una frontera de tal materialidad fue a la vez frente (ofensivo/defensivo), fronda (espacio de intercambio y habitabilidad) y muro de contención al solitón que genera su desaparición. | es-ES |
