dc.description	The aim of this article is to focus on one of the most common Moroccan female characters in twentieth-century Spanish narrative, a character influenced by the mythical Scheherazade. The article analyzes the archetype in sixty-two literary sources —novels and short stories— written by women. The analysis takes a necessary gender perspective, and is grounded on the theoretical principles of postcolonial criticism and cultural studies.	en-US
dc.description	El objetivo del presente artículo es poner el foco de atención en uno de los personajes marroquíes femeninos más habituales en la narrativa española del siglo XX, aquel influenciado por la mítica Sherezade. Para ello, se han analizado un total de sesenta y dos fuentes literarias —novelas y relatos— escritas únicamente por mujeres. La metodología utilizada, atravesada por la necesaria perspectiva de género, estará sustentada en las bases teóricas de las críticas postcoloniales y los estudios culturales.	es-ES
