dc.description	A partir de la novela El cielo bajo los pies (2009) de la historiadora y novelista Elsa Plaza, se revisará la construcción del mito de un personaje que deviene un chivo expiatorio de la tensión social que se vivía en Barcelona a principios del siglo XX. Se analizará cómo la obra de Elsa Plaza se aproxima al caso de Enriqueta Martí Ripoll, conocida por la prensa sensacionalista como la "vampira del Raval", con el objetivo de perfilar el contexto social, económico, político y cultural de una época ávida de crear figuras arquetípicas que canalizaran el creciente malestar.	ca-ES
dc.description	Focusing on the novel El cielo bajo los pies (2009), by historian and novelist Elsa Plaza, I will examine the construction of the myth around Enriqueta Martí Ripoll, known in the tabloid press of the time as “the Vampire of Raval”, a character that became a scapegoat for the social tension of early-twentieth-century Barcelona. I will analyze Elsa Plaza’s approach to the figure of “the Vampire of Raval” with the aim of describing the socio-political context of a period that was eager for the creation of archetypal figures that could serve to channel out a growing social unrest.	en-US
