dc.description	The expectations of those who reach old age regarding environment extrapolate functional issues and assume, above all, an affective stance. Here it lies the main goal of this study, which consists in comprehending attachment intervals – existing affective relations between the elderly and the built environment. The indirect documentation technique allowed bibliographical revision on themes and concepts referring to social, cultural and historic involvement of the elderly with space which, by its turn, base and make feasible the proposed reflection. Therefore, it was possible to apprehend the existence of affective bond between the old person and spatial elements present in the environment, hereby called attachment intervals.	en-US
dc.description	Las expectativas del individuo que llega a la vejez frente al medio extrapolan las cuestiones funcionales, asumiendo un carácter muy afectivo. Aquí se instala el objetivo general de este estudio, que consiste en comprender los intervalos del apego, las relaciones afectivas existentes entre anciano y ambiente construido. La técnica “documentación indirecta” proporcionó una revisión bibliográfica sobre temas y conceptos referentes a la participación social, cultural e histórica de la persona anciana con el espacio que, a su vez, construyeron y viabilizaron la reflexión propuesta. Así, fue posible percibir la existencia de enlaces afectivos entre anciano y elementos espaciales presentes en el medio, aquí denominados intervalos del apego.	es-ES
dc.description	As expectativas do indivíduo que alcança a velhice diante do meio extrapolam as questões funcionais, assumindo um caráter sobre tudo afetivo. Aqui se instala o objetivo geral deste estudo, que consiste em compreender os intervalos do apego, as relações afetivas existentes entre o idoso e o ambiente construído. A técnica da documentação indireta proporcionou uma revisão bibliográfica sobre temas e conceitos referentes ao envolvimento social, cultural e histórico da pessoa idosa com o espaço que, por sua vez, embasaram e viabilizaram a reflexão proposta. Assim, foi possível apreender a existência de elos afetivos entre o idoso e elementos espaciais presentes no meio, aqui denominados intervalos do apego.	pt-BR
