dc.description	This article explores the institutional evolution of the Cabinet Office of Ministers of Argentina, since its creation, product of the constitutional reform of 1994, up to the present. It focuses mainly on the organization, on the functions performed and on the profiles of the chiefs of staff throughout the established period. Likewise, it is emphasized that it is important not only to study the organizational transformation of this administrative body, but fundamentally the role it has played in the context of the organization of the Argentine Executive. We argue that this entity originally conceived to deconcentrate and temper Argentine presidentialism, became a powerful tool in the service of the president	en-US
dc.description	En este artículo se explora la evolución institucional de la Jefatura de Gabinete de Ministros desde su creación, producto de la reforma constitucional de 1994, hasta la actualidad. Se en-foca principalmente en la organización, en las funciones desempeñadas y en los perfiles de los jefes de gabinete a lo largo del período analizado. Asimismo, se subraya que es importante no solo estudiar la transformación organizacional de esta unidad sino fundamentalmente el rol que ha desempeñado en el contexto de la organización del Ejecutivo argentino. Argumentamos que esta institución, originalmente concebida para desconcentrar y morigerar el presidencialismo argentino, se convirtió en una poderosa herramienta al servicio del presidente.	es-ES
dc.description	Este artigo explora a evolução institucional do Chefe do Gabinete de Ministros desde a sua criação, produto da reforma constitucional de 1994, até o presente. Concentra-se principalmente na organização, nas funções desempenhadas e nos perfis dos chefes de gabinete durante todo o período analisado. Da mesma forma, ressalta-se que é importante não só estudar a transformação organizacional desta unidade, mas também fundamentalmente o papel que ela tem desempenhado no contexto da organização do Executivo argentino. Argumentamos que essa instituição, originalmente concebida para descentralizar e temperar o presidencialismo argentino, tornou-se uma poderosa ferramenta a serviço do presidente.	pt-BR
