| dc.description | The article proposes an analysis of the documentary Um lugar ao sol (Gabriel Mascaro, 2009), which is articulated around nine interviews with owners of penthouses in Rio de Janeiro, Recife and São Paulo. Since the documentary addresses a series of problems such as the perceptive and ideological effects of urban verticalization and its generation of a heterotopic politics, these problems will be studied through a reflection about what is visible and audible in the film. To do this, we will take into consideration the approaches proposed by Jacques Rancière in relation to the distribution of the sensible and by Georges Didi-Huberman concerning the exposure of the peoples. Through the dialogue with these theoretical frameworks, it will be possible to promote a thorough analysis of the redistribution of the sensible made in this documentary and to contrast it with the dominant trend in a certain Latin American documentary dedicated to spectacularizing the socially neglected sectors and ensuring the reserve of the elites. | en-US |
| dc.description | En el artículo se propone un análisis del documental Um lugar ao sol (Mascaro, 2009), articulado en torno a nueve entrevistas realizadas a propietarios de penthouses en Río de Janeiro, Recife y San Pablo. Dado que en él se aborda una serie de problemas como los efectos perceptivos e ideológicos de la verticalización urbana y su gestación de una política heterotópica, estos problemas serán estudiados a través de una reflexión acerca de lo visible y lo audible. Para ello, se tendrán en cuenta los acercamientos propuestos por Jacques Rancière en relación con el reparto de lo sensible y por Georges Didi-Huberman en relación con la exposición de los pueblos. A través del diálogo con estos marcos teóricos, será posible propiciar un análisis minucioso de la redistribución de lo sensible realizada en el documental y contrastarlo con la tendencia dominante en cierto documentalismo latinoamericano dedicada a espectacularizar a los sectores socialmente postergados y asegurar la reserva de las élites. | es-ES |
