dc.description	In this article we present the results of the investigation under the name of “Homophobic bullying and scholar dropout in High school. Experiences of male teenagers in Montevideo”. The same happened between 2016-2018. This work analyzes heteronormativity and institutional homophobia as conditions of education exclusion of teenagers in Highschool. The methodology design was of qualitative nature and of explorative type, based on Grounded Theory. Sample was composed of twenty teenagers. The results indicate there are different levels of structural heteronormativity in the educational system, especially in the private sector. The trajectory that LGBTI teenagers follow is paved with inequalities, educational exclusion is promoted by peers and the institution.	en-US
dc.description	En este artículo se presentan resultados del estudio “Bullying homofóbico y exclusión escolar en Ciclo Básico. Las experiencias de varones adolescentes de la ciudad de Montevideo”. El mismo se ejecutó entre 2016-2018. Este trabajo se centra en analizar a la heteronormatividad y a la homofobia institucional como condicionantes de la exclusión escolar de los adolescentes en Enseñanza Media. El diseño metodológico fue cualitativo de tipo exploratorio y se empleó el método de la Teoría Fundamentada. La muestra está compuesta por veinte adolescentes. Los resultados indican que existen niveles de heteronormatividad estructural en el sistema educativo formal, especialmente en el sector privado. Las trayectorias educativas de los adolescentes LGBTI están atravesadas por desigualdades, la exclusión escolar es promovida por los pares y por la propia institución.	es-ES
