| dc.description | This article aimed to reconstitute the narrative of Women’s football Union of Spain (Asociación Española de Jugadoras de Fútbol, AEJF), analizing the way that the union mobilizes and articulates claims of equality and difference in Spanish women’s football. In order to do that, we selected articles retrieved from union’s webpage and a semi-structured interview was conducted with the General Secretariat of the Union. The narrative was analyzed in thematic categories: claims for equality, visibility and respect to differences, further interpreted based on Nancy Fraser’s frame of recognition and redistribution. We showed that this narrative emphasized two issues: the necessity of changing the current discourses on women’s football, aiming to respect its particular features, and the urgency of recourses redistribution, a pathway to social justice on Professional football in Spain. | en-US |
| dc.description | O objetivo deste artigo é reconstituir a narrativa produzida pela Associação Espanhola de Jogadoras de Futebol (Asociación Española de Jugadoras de Fútbol - AEJF), analisando como a associação mobiliza e articula demandas sobre igualdade e diferença no futebol de mulheres na Espanha. Para tanto, utilizamos os materiais disponíveis na página virtual da associação e uma entrevista semi-estruturada realizada com a secretária geral da associação. A análise da narrativa foi empreendida pela organização temática, em referência às demandas por igualdade e à visibilidade e respeito às diferenças, articulando-as à discussão de Nancy Fraser sobre reconhecimento e redistribuição. Demonstramos que tal narrativa enfatiza dois aspectos: a necessidade de uma transformação nos discursos veiculados culturamente sobre a prática, que devem contemplar a especificidade do futebol de mulheres, e afirma a urgência de redistribuição de recursos, passos esses essenciais à justiça social relacionada ao futebol profissional naquele país. | pt-BR |
