dc.description	Different authors have shown that, since the attack on the Twin Towers in 2001, the category of resilience has pervaded risk management rationalities and neoliberal governmentality. Resilience is characterized by being a form of governing oneself and the others that seeks to create the conditions for individuals, communities or systems, to thrive in response to harmful events. Drawing on the modern origin of the category of resilience —in the ecology of the 1970s — and George Canghilhem`s concepts of life and health, our central thesis is that resilience creates an onto-political fiction: if the classic forms of risk management assumed that identity was something that should be preserved from risky contingencies, resilience proposes that identity is affirmed through the exposure to them.	en-US
dc.description	A partir de los atentados a la Torres Gemelas el 2001, la categoría de resiliencia tendrá un auge inusitado en el ámbito de la gestión del riego y de la gubernamentalidad neoliberal. La resiliencia se caracteriza por ser una forma de gobierno de sí y de los otros que se orienta a generar condiciones para que individuos, comunidades o sistemas, se desarrollen a partir de eventos nefastos. Recurriendo al origen moderno de la categoría de la resiliencia —en la ecología de los años 70— y a los conceptos de vida y salud de George Canghilhem, nuestra tesis central es que la resiliencia crea una ficción onto-política, que implica una nueva metafísica identitaria: si las formas clásicas de gestión del riesgo suponían que la identidad era algo que debía preservarse de las contingencias riesgosas, la resiliencia propone que la identidad se afirma a través de la exposición a ellas.	es-ES
