| dc.description | In this article I elaborate a reflection on the photography and its relationship with the fifteen years celebrations. The study is made from the review of photographic records and forms of celebration — events and travels — of four Colombian fifteen years birthday parties, through a qualitative analysis that starts from the application of collective interviews with the families of the young women and the revision of photographic images from your albums. Theoretically, photography is understood as sociocultural practice, conceptualization that takes contributions from semiotics, sociohistory and visual social research. The analysis that I propose of the celebrations of the indicated cases and their records in images, it is realized from the implications of the passage of girl to woman and its photographic capture. Thence, I conclude that photography has a social use that goes beyond the desire to eternalize the ritual of event in images, because it is a ritual practice that helps to mediate the passage from girl to girl. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este artículo elaboro una reflexión sobre la fotografía y su relación con las celebraciones de quince años. El estudio se hace a partir de los registros fotográficos y formas de celebración —fiestas y viajes— de cuatro quinceañeras colombianas, a través de un análisis cualitativo que parte de la aplicación de entrevistas colectivas con las familias de las jóvenes y de la revisión de imágenes fotográficas de sus álbumes. Teóricamente, la fotografía es entendida como práctica sociocultural, conceptualización que toma aportes de la semiótica, la sociohistoria y la investigación social visual. El análisis que propongo de las celebraciones de los casos señalados, se realiza desde las implicaciones del pasaje de niña a mujer y su captura fotográfica. Desde allí, concluyo que la fotografía tiene un uso social que va más allá del deseo de eternizar el evento en imágenes, pues es una práctica ritual que contribuye a mediar el pasaje de niña a mujer. | es-ES |
