dc.description	Erving Goffman's work is considered as an accomplished effort to understand modern social order on a microsociological scale. In this article I retrieve a reading of the Goffmanian self that allows me to state some premises to understand the dynamics of the conflict in the same analytic level. Where Goffmanian concepts are insufficient to account for the meaning that the action has for the actor, I engage in a productive dialogue with other theoretical traditions. Throughout this paper I identify three elements that the analyst should attend to: repertoires, breaks and narratives. My statement conceives conflict as a social and moral breakdown, which means interpreting it as a ‘methodological tool’. Moreover, I will state that the narrative, as conceived by Jerome Bruner, can provide access to the comprehensive study of conflict within social interaction.	en-US
dc.description	La obra de Erving Goffman es considerada como un logrado esfuerzo por comprender el orden social moderno a escala microsociológica. En este artículo recupero una lectura del self goffmaniano que me permite construir algunas premisas para comprender la dinámica del conflicto en ese mismo plano de análisis. Allí donde los conceptos goffmanianos resultan insuficientes para dar cuenta del significado que la acción tiene para el actor, entablo un diálogo productivo con otras tradiciones teóricas. En mi exposición identifico tres elementos a los que el analista de las interacciones debería atender: repertorios, quiebres y narrativas. El argumento que presentaré concibe al conflicto como un quiebre socio-moral, lo que supone interpretarlo como “operador metodológico”. Asimismo, argumentaré que la narrativa, tal como fue entendida por Jerome Bruner, puede constituir una vía de acceso al estudio comprensivo de la conflictividad en la interacción social.	es-ES
