| dc.description | In this essay we contribute to the discussion about the ways in which psychology research practices deal with the knowledge of the "other". We explore the dynamics of the knowledge production process resulting from the adoption of a constructionist epistemology. Through the analysis carried out, we give visibility to the challenges present throughout the research process, in the relationships the researcher constructs with different "others", namely: the immediate other, represented by the research participant; the institutionalized other, represented by referees from funding agencies, evaluators and other researchers; and the society, as a developmental context for the research and as a reference for the research required. We conclude that the overcoming of such challenges does not happens exclusively in the theoretical or methodological field, but takes place mainly in the set of social practices in which the researcher is inserted and in the various ethical and political plots that are produced. | en-US |
| dc.description | Neste ensaio buscamos contribuir com a reflexão sobre as formas pelas quais as práticas de pesquisa em Psicologia relacionam-se com o conhecimento do “outro”. Exploraremos as dinâmicas presentes no processo de produção de conhecimento decorrentes da adoção de uma epistemologia construcionista. Por meio da análise realizada, damos visibilidade para os desafios presentes ao longo do processo de pesquisa na relação que o pesquisador constrói com os diferentes “outros”, quais sejam: o outro imediato representado pelo participante da pesquisa; os outros institucionalizados, representados pelos pareceristas de agências de fomento, avaliadores, e outros pesquisadores; e a sociedade, como contexto de desenvolvimento e como fonte de necessidades de pesquisa. Concluímos que o enfrentamento de tais desafios não se dá no campo exclusivamente teórico ou metodológico, mas se realiza, sobretudo, no conjunto de práticas sociais em que o pesquisador está inserido e nas várias tramas éticas e políticas que são produzidas. | pt-BR |
