| dc.description | In this articleI analize the prime theoretical arguments around the nationalism concept, from the modernist position, as well as the historic-culturalist position, and contrast them with the studies of specialists of mexican issues, to understand what has been said about mexican nationalism. At the very core of the debate, lies the State- nation concept, and it’s interference in the development of collective identities; also, cultura as an integration agent of those identities. From that contrast, I seek to dilucidate the way mexican nationalism was built, explain it’s contents and what’s behind the phenomenom. | en-US |
| dc.description | En el presente artículo se realiza un análisis de los principales argumentos teóricos en torno al concepto de nacionalismo, tanto a partir de la postura modernista, como de la histórico culturalista, y se contrastan con los estudios realizados por investigadores de lo mexicano, para llegar a comprender lo que se ha dicho y las diferentes posturas que existen sobre el nacionalismo mexicano. El centro del debate es el concepto de Estado- nación y su injerencia en el desarrollo de identidades colectivas; a la vez, la cultura como elemento integrador de dichas identidades. De ese contraste busco dilucidar la manera en que se constituyó el nacionalsimo mexicano, entender sus contenidos y explicar lo que está detrás del fenómeno. | es-ES |
