dc.description	Immigration is currently a source of much, sometimes divisive, social debate. However, what the immigrants themselves have to say about their own situation often goes unreported. One of the least-studied aspects of immigration is the immigrant's relationship with new information and communication technologies (ICTs). Here I suggest, as a project for investigation, the analysis of the metaphors that immigrants (from sub-Saharan Africa to Spain) use to represent ICTs and the practices that surround them. These immigrants are of special interest because they come from places where contact with ICTs is minimal, and also because the jobs they find on arrival in Spain tend not to involve the use of ICTs. I propose the adoption of a perspective in which context and social relationships take precedence over individualistic factors, such as attitudes or attributions. I argue that social network analysis, and more specifically, discursive network analysis, is the investigative strategy most appropriate to such a project.	en-US
dc.description	La inmigración es uno de los temas sociales más discutidos recientemente, tanto a favor como en contra. Sin embargo, en muchas ocasiones se deja de lado lo que los propios inmigrantes tienen que decir sobre la situación que viven. Uno de los aspectos menos estudiados es la relación interactiva/discursiva que los inmigrantes tienen con respecto a las nuevas tecnologías de información y comunicación (TICs). Presento una propuesta de estudio de las metáforas sobre tecnociencia que usan inmigrantes provenientes de África subsahariana, por ser quienes menos contacto han tenido con las TICs y quienes al arribar a España se desenvuelven en los trabajos más alejados del uso de TICs. Propongo que se adopte una perspectiva en la cual el contexto y las relaciones toman prominencia por sobre los aspectos atributivos o actitudinales. Considero que la estrategia de investigación más adecuada la proporciona el análisis de redes sociales desde la modalidad del análisis reticular del discurso.	es-ES
