| dc.description | This study aims to explore the opinions and attitudes about groups traditionally discriminated against by sexual orientation, gender, race and disability in young people university students of Degree of Education and Master in Psychopedagogy. A questionnaire with 4 dimensions about relevant content regarding these groups in a situation of social exclusion has been used. Among the results obtained, we highlight that higher education students believe that society generally understands people with different sexual orientations, although verbal aggressions towards them still exist; they recognize that it is at work where there is greater gender discrimination due to a traditional and prototypical mentality; that society inappropriately treats people with disabilities, causing the greatest discrimination due to labeling, social rejection and lack of capacity and that society relies little on other races to establish friendships, identifying a feeling of hostility towards them. Regarding the conclusions, the idea is raised that in higher education we will have to develop "discursive practices" from discussion groups to create transformative attitudes towards the consideration of equality, all with the responsibility of training in respect for diversity by university teachers towards university students. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este estudio tiene como objetivo explorar opiniones y actitudes acerca de colectivos tradicionalmente discriminados por orientación sexual, género, raza y discapacidad en personas jóvenes estudiantes universitarias de Grado de Educación y Máster en Psicopedagogía. Se ha utilizado un cuestionario con 4 dimensiones acerca de contenidos relevantes respecto a estos colectivos en situación de exclusión social. Entre los resultados obtenidos destacan que los y las estudiantes de educación superior opinan que la sociedad generalmente entiende a personas con distintas orientaciones sexuales, aunque siguen existiendo agresiones verbales hacia ellos y ellas; reconocen que es en el trabajo donde existe mayor discriminación por género debido a una mentalidad tradicional y prototípica; que la sociedad trata inadecuadamente a personas con discapacidad, produciéndose la mayor discriminación por etiquetaje, rechazo social y falta de capacidad y que la sociedad confía poco en otras razas para entablar amistades, identificándose un sentimiento de hostilidad hacia ellos y ellas. Respecto a las conclusiones, se plantea la idea de que en educación superior habrá que desarrollar "prácticas discursivas" con grupos de discusión para crear actitudes transformadoras hacia la consideración de la igualdad y la responsabilidad de una formación en el respeto a la diversidad por parte del profesorado universitario hacia alumnado universitario. | es-ES |
