| dc.description | While they do not constitute a major influx in economic terms, since 2000 Venezuelans have been one of the largest groups of foreign students in Spain. However, after the worsening of the Venezuelan political and economic crisis, these influxes have changed qualitatively and quantitatively. As such, although they constitute the largest group among asylum seekers in Spain, students are decreasing.
