dc.description	This article addresses the migratory flow from Northern Italy to the Province of Espírito Santo (Brazil). Through an exploratory methodology, based on a bibliographical research, using aspects of the Push-Pull theory, developed by Ravenstein (1885), it describes the trajectory of the Pietro Tabacchi Expedition. The settlers, rebellious with the conditions of life, escaped to other regions of the territory. It is noteworthy that, when they arrived at the Timbuhy Nucleus, part of the settlers eventually founded Santa Teresa, the first Italian city in Brazil, a fact contested by official historiography.	en-US
dc.description	L’articolo tratta del flusso migratorio che dall’Italia Settentrionale si è diretto nello Stato di Espirito Santo (Brasile). Con una metodologia esplorativa, basata su una ricerca bibliografica e che utilizza aspetti della teoria del Push-Pull sviluppata da Ravenstein (1885), il saggio descrive la traiettoria della spedizione di Pietro Tabacchi. I coloni, ribelli alle condizioni di vita, scapparono verso altre regioni di Espirito Santo. È interessante notare che, quando costoro arrivarono al Nucleo di Timbuhy, una parte dei coloni fondò Santa Teresa, la prima città italiana in Brasile, fatto contestato dalla storiografia ufficiale.	it-IT
