dc.description	The citizens of Guspini, Eugenio Massa, Luigi Murgia and Ettore Manis were sent into internal exile after having been accused of anti-Fascism in November 1937. Eugenio Massa had been a Socialist, which then became a member of the PNF (National Fascist Party) in 1923, while Luigi Murgia and Ettore Manis belonged to the Republican tradition. The three of them were kind of an exception among the anti-Fascist supporters from Guspini, because exile was usually experienced mostly by anti-Fascists with Communist ideas. Their paths crossed in the evening of the 4 September 1937, when the three of them met (along with a fellow countryman, the attorney Riccardo Lisci) in the house of Mr Massa, to listen to the radio news of Radio Barcelona, which that evening broadcasted an intervention of the refugee, Velio Spano, who had also lived in Guspini for some years together with his family.	en-US
dc.description	I guspinesi Eugenio Massa, Luigi Murgia ed Ettore Manis, furono condannati al confino con l’accusa di antifascismo nel novembre del 1937. Eugenio Massa era un ex socialista, iscrittosi al PNF nel 1923, mentre Luigi Murgia ed Ettore Manis erano di estrazione repubblicana. I tre rappresentarono una sorta di eccezione tra gli antifascisti guspinesi, poiché in quest’area l’esperienza del confino fu vissuta soprattutto dagli antifascisti di estrazione comunista. Il loro destino si intrecciò la sera del 4 settembre 1937, quando i tre si riunirono in casa di Massa insieme ad un altro compaesano, l’avvocato Riccardo Lisci, per ascoltare la radiocronaca di Barcellona, che trasmetteva quella sera un intervento del fuoriuscito Velio Spano: anch’egli in precedenza residente a Guspini per qualche anno con la sua famiglia.	it-IT
