| dc.description | This paper covers a journey across some of the academic, institutional and women’s movement productions appeared in the period between 2004 and 2014 regarding women and gender studies in the continental and insular Colombian Caribbean region. The work has two main objectives. On the one hand it is directed to register the use of intersectionality perspective as an analytical tool in the selected papers; on the other it is aimed to present a summary of the different periods of women’s struggles for their rights in the region being studied. As a consequence, the text is split into two segments: at first, it contains a broad overview of the most highlighting publications produced in the period under consideration. Balances and questionings on what has been said and what has not been said about the subject are presented. In the second part an attempt is made to rebuild, based on the reviewed texts, the recent past of the feminist and women’s movement in the Colombian Caribbean. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este trabajo se realiza un recorrido por algunas publicaciones académicas, institucionales y del movimiento de mujeres aparecidas entre 2004 y 2014 que se refieren a los estudios de mujer y de género en el Caribe continental e insular colombiano. El objetivo propuesto es doble: por un lado, registrar el uso de la perspectiva de la interseccionalidad como herramienta de análisis en los trabajos revisados y, por otra parte, hacer una sucinta periodización de las luchas de las mujeres por sus derechos en estos territorios. En consecuencia, el trabajo se divide en dos partes bien diferenciadas: en primera instancia se presenta una visión general de las principales publicaciones producidas durante el periodo contemplado, cuestionando e identificando lo que se ha dicho y lo que se ha dejado de decir sobre el tema. En un segundo momento se pretende reconstruir, con base en los materiales revisados, parte del trasegar reciente del movimiento feminista y de mujeres del Caribe colombiano. | es-ES |
