dc.description	The collective transnational migrant is defined as the organized migrant who has a certain level of association; a type of organization, therefore, superior to that of migrant networks or clubs. At the same time, it refers to formal, permanent organizational structures with negotiating capabilities vis-à-vis the state and binational recognition. Its degree of institutionalization allows it to differentiate among community, business and political activism interests. This migrant has the asset of a strategic vision that makes it a new social subject committed to social, democratic development in the broadest sense.
dc.description	Se define como migrante colectivo transnacional al migrante organizado que cuenta con el nivel de asociación; por tanto, este es un tipo de organización superior al de las redes o clubes de migrantes. A su vez, se trata de estructuras organizativas formales, permanentes, con capacidad de negociación ante el Estado y de reconocimiento binacional. Su grado de institucionalización le permite diferenciar entre los intereses comunitarios y aquéllos de índole empresarial y de militancia política. Este migrante cuenta entre sus haberes con una mirada estratégica que permite caracterizarlo como un nuevo sujeto social comprometido con el desarrollo social y democrático en sentido amplio.
