dc.description Abstract Lately, the concept of domestication, like depicted in the Great Narrative with its basis in the history of Near East, is passing through strong criticism. In the context of the discussion about Anthropic Amazon, the concept has gained different shades and has been amplified and dissociated from the notion of agriculture and sedentarism. This work has a double objective: near or intertwine the narrative lines between the bias of the debate about the domestication of Amazonian forests; and show there are other practices or kinds of relations between humans and plants that are out of range to the idea of domestication. en-US
