| dc.description | The COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on economic activities that cause climate change allow us to visualize humanity's complications if we do not stop global warming. Based on a bibliographic review and supported by quantitative data, the objective of this work was to analyze the rela-tionship between contingency measures and their impact on the emission of greenhouse gases in the period spanning from December 2019 to the end of August 2020. Specifically, addressing the case of China as it is a nation that, due to the events of recent years, is relevant for the analysis of both phenomena. The hypothesis was that the global crisis resulting from this emergency impacted the trend in greenhouse gas production and showed that it is not a priority issue for the States to stop climate change. | en-US |
| dc.description | La pandemia por COVID-19 y su efecto en las actividades económicas causantes del cambio climático, permite visualizar las complicaciones que tendrá la humanidad si no se pone freno al calentamiento global. Con base en una revisión bibliográfica y con el apoyo de datos cuantitativos, en este trabajo se estableció como objetivo analizar la relación entre las medidas de contingencia y su impacto en la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI), en el periodo que abarca de diciembre de 2019 a finales de agosto de 2020. Para ello se decidió abordar el caso de China por ser una nación que debido a los acontecimientos de los últimos años tiene relevancia para el análisis de ambos fenómenos. Se partió de la hipótesis de que la crisis mundial que derivó de esta emergencia impactó la tendencia en la producción de GEI, además de mostrar que no es para los Estados un asunto prioritario frenar el cambio climático. | es-ES |
