| dc.description | From the formation of an extractive front of natural resources and the subsequent organization of agricultural colonies, the landscape transformations in the territory of Alto Paraná-Misiones were multiple. The present work analyzes the impact of the different migrations and particularly that of swiss to the organization of the missionary agricultural landscape. Regarding the time frame, we include the end of what was known as the extractive front and the years immediately after the regulation of the cultivation of yerba mate in 1935. Within this framework, two were the determinant moments for the arrival of swiss: during the 1920s, and between 1935 and 1939. The transition from exploitation to the implantation of wild herbs was a process of high importance, not only for the configuration of the missionary landscape but also for the consolidation of the settlements of European immigrants. The methodology used in this study is essentially qualitative, as it analyzes interviews and documents - letters, memories, and travel stories - produced by the protagonists of the migratory phenomenon or their descendants. By sections, the article seeks to analyze the traces left in the landscape by the Swiss immigrants who arrived in the National Territory of Misiones during the first half of the 20th century. | en-US |
| dc.description | A partir de la conformación de un frente extractivo de recursos naturales y la posterior organización de colonias agrícolas, múltiples fueron las transformaciones paisajísticas que tuvo el territorio de el Alto Paraná-Misiones. El presente trabajo analiza el impacto de las distintas migraciones en general y la de los suizos en particular, en la organización del paisaje agrícola misionero. El marco temporal del que partimos involucra el fin de lo que se conoció como frente extractivo, hasta los años inmediatamente posteriores a la reglamentación del cultivo de yerba mate en el año 1935. Dentro de este marco, dos fueron los momentos claves para el arribo de suizos: durante la década de 1920, y entre 1935 y 1939. La transición de la explotación a la implantación de yerbales silvestres fue un proceso de suma importancia no sólo para la configuración del paisaje misionero, sino también para la consolidación del poblamiento del espacio con inmigrantes europeos. La metodología empleada en este estudio es esencialmente cualitativa, pues analiza entrevistas y documentos ―cartas, memorias y relatos de viaje― producidos por los protagonistas del fenómeno migratorio o sus descendientes. Organizado en secciones, el artículo busca analizar las huellas dejadas en el paisaje por los inmigrantes suizos que arribaron durante la primera mitad del siglo XX al Territorio Nacional de Misiones. | es-ES |
