dc.description	The paper highlights water service in the interior of the province of Buenos Aires-Argentina, where the debate over the quality and levels of arsenic has led to legal conflicts. One emblematic conflict took place in the municipality of Nueve de Julio, where the population organized and filed a legal claim that resulted in a court decision by the Supreme Court in 2014. After the demands and judicial requirements, a discussion forum was set up with various parties that enabled the signing of an agreement and the subsequent development of the infrastructure required to reduce arsenic. This article documents the process that took place from 2010 to 2016 and examines the current situation from the perspective of the stakeholders. It does so using a qualitative, methodological strategy that drew on primary sources, especially interviews with key informants, a direct survey and secondary sources that include documents of the organizations involved, sectoral legislation and newspaper articles.	en-US
dc.description	El artículo sitúa la atención en el servicio de agua en el interior de la provincia de Buenos Aires-Argentina, donde el debate por la calidad y los niveles de arsénico ha dado lugar a conflictos que se han judicializado. Uno de los conflictos emblemáticos tuvo lugar en el municipio denominado Nueve de Julio, donde la población se organizó y presentó un reclamo judicial que derivó en un fallo de la Corte Suprema de la Nación en 2014. Tras los reclamos y las exigencias judiciales se conformó un espacio de articulación con distintos actores que permitió la firma de un acuerdo y la posterior construcción de un conjunto de infraestructuras para reducir el arsénico. El artículo narra el proceso que tuvo lugar durante 2010-2016 e indaga en la situación actual desde la mirada de los actores. Lo hace con una estrategia metodológica cualitativa que utilizó fuentes primarias, especialmente entrevistas a informantes claves y una encuesta directa, así como fuentes secundarias que incluyen documentos de los organismos involucrados, normativa sectorial y notas periodísticas.	es-ES
