| dc.description | The Anthropocene has involved the transformation of the humanities, giving rise to a posthuman or environmental shift within them. This shift was a result of the need to consider the non-human realities that constitute our environment at a time when anthropogenic climate change threatens to increase the vulnerabilities of various minorities and subalternities. Accordingly, in this text, we are writing about worlds in collision since the Anthropocene/Capitalocene and climate change emerge as forces threatening the survival of many cosmologies and perspectives, whose understanding of the world occurs through situated experiences that are not necessarily intertranslatable into the language of science. Our aim is therefore to articulate an ecofeminist proposal within this environmental shift that uses a set of tools from the feminist epistemology of testimonials to theorize about the epistemic injustices created by this era. We attempt to outline an interpretive apparatus capable of resisting the temptation to reduce the effects of this climate crisis to an objectified list of losses while overlooking the significance these losses have for concrete experiential positions. | en-US |
| dc.description | El Antropoceno ha implicado una transformación de las humanidades dando lugar a un giro posthumano o ambiental a su interior. Este giro responde a la necesidad de atender a las realidades no humanas que conforman nuestro entorno en un momento en el cual el cambio climático antropogénico amenaza con amplificar las vulnerabilidades de diversas minorías y subalternidades. De allí que hablemos en este texto de mundos en colisión pues el Antropoceno/Capitaloceno y el cambio climático irrumpen como fuerzas que amenazan la supervivencia de innumerables cosmovisiones y perspectivas cuya comprensión del mundo se da a través de vivencias situadas que no necesariamente son intertraducibles al lenguaje de las ciencias. Por ello es que nuestro objetivo es articular una propuesta ecofeminista que se alimente de este giro ambiental en humanidades y que retome de la epistemología feminista del testimonio un conjunto de herramientas para poder teorizar las así llamadas injusticias epistémicas que esta nueva época está engendrando. Lo que buscamos es esbozar un aparato interpretativo que resista la tentación de reducir los efectos de esta crisis climática a un listado objetivado de pérdidas en detrimento de la significancia que las pérdidas tienen para diversas posiciones experienciales. | es-ES |
