dc.description	This paper analyzes the establishment, declaration and management of natural protected areas (NPA) by official institutions in territories occupied by indigenous peoples. Problems and benefits of NPA environmental policy are addressed, as well as the historical occupation of areas with a high ecological value which still have remnants of original ecosystems and their biodiversity.	en-US
dc.description	El presente ensayo analiza el establecimiento, decreto y manejo de las áreas naturales protegidas (ANP) por parte de las instituciones oficiales en territorios ocupados por pueblos originarios. Se plantean de manera general los problemas y beneficios de la política ambiental en torno a las ANP y de la ocupación histórica de áreas de alto valor ecológico que aún cuentan con remanentes de ecosistemas originales y de su biodiversidad.	es-ES
