dc.description	El artículo examina la significación sociocultural que ha tenido la devoción de la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre en la configuración nacional cubana. En este contexto, plantea las limitaciones analíticas de la historiografía cubana del periodo revolucionario, con respecto a la función de intermediación simbólica entre el pueblo y el poder que dicho culto ha cumplido. The Virgin of La Caridad del Cobre and Cuban Historiography (Dogmatisms and Silences on Power and the Nation)The article examines the sociocultural significance of the Virgin of la Caridadn del Cobre in the shaping of Cuba as a nation. In this context, it sets out the analytical limitations placed on historiography during the revolutionary period with regard to the study of the Virgin's political relations and symbolic intermediation.	es-ES
