| dc.description | El propósito de este artículo es adentrarnos en el conocimiento de una parte significativa del sistema educativo del Porfiriato, como fue el caso del magisterio y, en especial, el gremio femenino veracruzano. Así, teniendo como antecedentes las políticas educativas de la República Restaurada y el Porfiriato en el país y en el estado de Veracruz, nace una institución como la Escuela Normal, forjadora de varias generaciones de maestros que, con sus enseñanzas innovadoras, colocaron a Veracruz como una entidad importante dentro de las reformas educativas nacionales. El grupo de profesoras normalistas fue parte importante de esa proyección que alcanzó la Escuela Normal Veracruzana. Teacher Trainees in Veracruz during the PorfiriatoThe purpose of this article is to search deeper into a significant part of the educational system during the Porfirio Diaz regime, as was the case of the teacher training and in particular that of female teachers in Veracruz. The educational policies of the Restored Republic and the Porfiriato regime at both national and state levels provided the background to the Teacher Training School. This institution trained several generations of teachers and its innovating teaching techniques put Veracruz to the forefront of national educational reforms. The group of female teachers was an important part of this project and the fame which the Escuela Normal Veracruzana obtained. | es-ES |
