dc.description	Este artículo plantea un análisis del discurso del líder sindical petrolero bajo el contexto de la Vela 25 de Enero de los Trabajadores Petroleros de la República Mexicana, Sección 38. El discurso de éste, efectuado en tres años consecutivos (2008, 2009 y 2010), permite mostrar el vínculo entre las normas institucionales y los códigos de lealtad, los cuales son determinados por la relación entre la estructura de poder sindical con sus agremiados, la sociedad salinacrucense y los organismos del Estado: el municipio y la empresa Petróleos Mexicanos. La intención del análisis es comprender el sentido que posee el discurso del líder, es decir, ¿qué es lo que dice el secretario general en la Vela 25 de Enero y lo quiere hacer decir a los trabajadores petroleros?, ¿cuál es la tesis que busca insertarse como un aspecto verosímil? “United We Stand.” An Analysis of Discursive Acts in Celebrations of the Salinas Cruz Oil Workers’ UnionThe current article offers an analysis of the union leader’s speech during the January 25th Vela of the Oil Workers´ Union of the Mexican Republic section 38. The leader’s speech, given for three years in a row (2008, 2009 and 2010), demonstrates the link between institutional norms and loyalty codes, which are determined by the relation between the union power structure with its members, the Salina Cruz society and organs of the state: the municipality and the company Petróleos Mexicanos. The purpose of this analysis is to understand the meaning of the leader´s speech, in other words, what does the General Secretary say in his January 25th Vela speech and what does he mean to say to the oil workers?What is the thesis that he seeks to establish as a credible vision?	es-ES
