dc.description	Este artículo reconstruye el itinerario de vida de José Rumbia Guzmán (1865-1913), uno de entre los tantos intelectuales menores que tuvieron cierta influencia en la conformación del bloque revolucionario en el estado de Tlaxcala, así como en otras partes de la república, entre 1910 y 1913. La meta de este ensayo es restituir el rol de una sociabilidad religiosa heterodoxa en la formación de un intelectual popular menor precursor de la revolución maderista y mostrar la articulación que había entre protesta religiosa y protesta política dentro de una historia de vida ejemplar. Además, de contribuir a la exploración del impacto popular del liberalismo en la formación ciudadana tomando en cuenta la necesidad de entender los mecanismos de su transmisión en los ámbitos rural y obrero.The Itinerary of a Lower-Class Protestant Liberal Intellectual Freemason in Mexico: José Rumbia Guzmán, 1865-1913This articles reconstructs the itinerary of José Rumbia Guzmán’s life, one of many minor intellectuals who had a certain influence in the formation of the revolutionary block in the state of Tlaxcala, and other parts of the republic during 1910-1913. The objective of this essay is to restore the role of heterodox religious social networks in the formation of a little known intellectual of lower-class origen who was a precursor of the maderista revolution, and demonstrate the ties that existed between religious and political protest using his life as an exemplary case. The article also explores the impact of popular liberalism in the formation of citizenship taking into account the need to understand the mechanisms of its transmission in rural and proletarian settings.	es-ES
