dc.description	Mediante testimonios de esclavos descendientes de africanos del ingenio azucarera ex jesuita de San Nicolás Ayotla, Oaxaca, extraídos del Archivo General de la Nación, el artículo intenta ilustrar algunos aspectos de la vida cotidiana rural esclava y mostrar cómo la producción del azúcar impuso a esclavos y administradores una discontinua y/o semipermanente tensión recíroca, que empujó necesarianmente a entrambos al surgimiento y establecimiento de espacios de negociación.Administrators versus Slaves in the San Nicolas Ayotla Sugar Mill (Oaxaca), Towards the last Third of the Eighteenth CenturyThe article employs the testimony of Afro-american slaves working in the ex- Jesuit Sugar Mill at San Nicolas de Ayotla (Oaxaca), recorded in documents in the Archivo General de la Naci6n. The text tries to illustrate some aspects of daily slave life, and to show how sugar production imposed a discontinuous relationship of tension, which pushed both parties into the development of spaces for negotiation.	es-ES
