It has been argued that in a socialist economy it would be possible to solve the problem of economic calculation by implementing the equations, considering the description that mathematical economics makes of the conditions of economic equilibrium. This point of view appeared for the first time in an article authored by Barone dated 19081; Since then, the work has been the subject of a series of rewrites and, today, has the highest recognition.
Se ha sostenido que en una economía socialista sería posible resolver el problema del cálculo económico mediante la implementación de las ecuaciones, considerando la descripción que hace la economía matemática de las condiciones de equilibrio económico. Este punto de vista apareció por primera vez en un artículo de autoría de Barone fechado en 19081; desde entonces, el trabajo ha sido objeto de una serie de reescrituras y, hoy por hoy, cuenta con el alto reconocimiento.
